The people behind Umlozi
Umlozi International (Pty) Ltd is a distribution company with directors Jo Cilliers (also CEO of Redefine Distribution) and Tyrone Georgiou (Retail sales specialist) who decided to join forces with their combined 30+ years of experience and created a company of seasoned sales professionals equipped to handle the sales, merchandising and distribution of a variety of products for their clients. Between directors and staff we have experience in a diverse range of products from security, health, beauty, confectionary to toys and textiles!
Lindani Lufu-Nyoni's has vast knowledge of the beauty market coupled with years of extensive experience as a businesswoman in the wholesale industry. Thea Malan (Finance and Office manager) has worked for Redefine Distribution for 20 years and now also looks after Umlozi International’s administration. Regan (technical advisor) and assists with technical issues and repairs. Peter is our sales specialist for outlying and rural areas.
Umlozi International also imports and exports selected product ranges and holds the rights to several brands which it distributes in Southern Africa.

Umlozi International offer distribution and merchandising to many of South Africa's leading retailers.
Umlozi International acts as a contact point to many of South Africa's leading retailers. We have a national footprint and have dedicated agents that service small independent stores through to national chains.
We provide an end-to-end supply chain solution for the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, by having an indepth understanding of the FMCG market-set within the landscape of South Africa.
These offerings are managed by a highly energized team with many years of FMCG experience and with a clear understanding of both the retailer and the brand principal’s requirements. Umlozi offers distribution, brand building, sales, merchandising and marketing to our clients.
Sales forms an integral part of our client offering. Key accounts are handled by the directors and sales managers themselves and a dedicated field sales manager oversees all sales team activities and reports directly to the sales manager and company directors. Umlozi’s sales representatives are mandated to negotiate at store level on behalf of our clients.
